Your dashboard shows everything you need to manage your medications at a glance. It's designed to answer one simple question: "What do I need to do right now?"
What You'll See
Today's Medications
The top of your dashboard shows doses due today:
- Green checkmark ✓ — Dose taken
- Yellow clock ⏰ — Dose coming up
- Red alert ❗ — Dose overdue
Click any medication to log a dose or see more details.
Quick Actions
Buttons for common tasks:
- Log Dose — Record that you took a medication
- Add Medication — Add a new prescription
- Request Refill — Submit a refill request
Your Adherence
A simple number showing how consistently you're taking medications:
- 90-100% 🟢 — Excellent! Keep it up
- 80-89% 🟢 — Good job
- 50-79% 🟡 — Room for improvement
- Below 50% 🔴 — Let's work on this together
Don't stress about being perfect. Most medications work well if you're above 80%.
Alerts & Reminders
Important notifications appear here:
- Refill needed — Time to request more
- Missed dose — A dose wasn't logged
- Low adherence — You've missed several doses recently
Taking a Dose
The quickest way to log a dose:
- Find the medication on your dashboard
- Click the checkmark (✓) or Take button
- Done! It's recorded with the current time
Need to add details? Click the medication name to log with notes or a different time.
Checking Your History
Want to see past doses?
- Click on any medication
- Scroll to Dose History
- View all your logged doses with dates and times
Viewing All Medications
Click Medications in the navigation to see your complete list:
- Active medications you're currently taking
- Paused medications (temporarily stopped)
- Discontinued medications (for your records)
Customizing Your View
Everyone is different. You can adjust your dashboard:
- Go to Settings > Dashboard
- Choose what to show/hide
- Reorder sections to match your preferences
Quick Tips
- Check your dashboard daily — Just a quick glance keeps you on track
- Log doses right away — Don't wait, you might forget
- Use reminders — Let CareForMeds notify you before each dose
- Don't panic about red alerts — Just log what happened and move on
Getting Help
The ? icon in the corner opens help at any time. You can also ask a family member with caregiver access to help you navigate.
