Logging Doses for Your Loved One

When you're with them and they take their medication:

  1. Click on their patient card
  2. Find the medication
  3. Click Log Dose
  4. Confirm time and status
  5. Add optional notes ("Took with breakfast")
  6. Click Save

Tip: Log doses right away while you're together. It's easy to forget later.

Handling Alerts

When you receive an alert:

Missed Dose Alert

  1. Check when the dose was due
  2. Contact your loved one (call, text, visit)
  3. Help them take it if appropriate
  4. Log the outcome (taken late, missed, etc.)

Low Adherence Alert

  1. Review the pattern — what's being missed?
  2. Have a supportive conversation
  3. Consider if the schedule needs adjusting
  4. Discuss with their healthcare provider if ongoing

Refill Alert

  1. Check which medication is running low
  2. Verify if they have refills remaining
  3. Submit refill request or call pharmacy
  4. Update inventory when refill is picked up

Managing Multiple Patients

If you're caring for more than one person:

Prioritization

  • Red alerts take priority
  • Critical medications (blood thinners, insulin) first
  • Check everyone at least once daily

Organization Tips

  • Set a daily check-in time (e.g., 9 AM review)
  • Use notes to track conversations
  • Divide responsibilities if other caregivers are involved

Switching Between Patients

  • Use the tabs or dropdown to switch
  • Dashboard shows summary of all patients
  • Set up different notification sounds per patient (in Settings)

Customizing Your Dashboard

Make it work for you:

  1. Go to Settings > Dashboard
  2. Options include:
    • Reorder patient cards
    • Show/hide specific alerts
    • Set default view (all patients or one)
    • Choose data display preferences

Notification Settings

Fine-tune what alerts you receive:

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications
  2. For each patient, configure:
    • Immediate alerts — Critical missed doses
    • Daily summaries — End-of-day overview
    • Weekly reports — Adherence trends
  3. Set quiet hours if needed

  • Receive push notifications
  • Log doses from anywhere
  • Check in while waiting at appointments
