    • Form - Tablet, capsule, liquid, injection, etc.
    • Frequency - How often you take it (once daily, twice daily, as needed, etc.)
    • Instructions - Special instructions (with food, at bedtime, etc.)

Tips for Accurate Entry

  • Use the exact name from your prescription bottle
  • Include the strength - "Lisinopril 10mg" not just "Lisinopril"
  • Set realistic times - Choose times you'll actually take the medication
  • Add notes - Record why you're taking it (helps during doctor visits)

Editing a Medication

  1. Go to Medications
  2. Click on the medication you want to edit
  3. Click Edit
  4. Make your changes
  5. Click Save Changes

Pausing vs Discontinuing

  • Pause - Temporarily stop a medication (can resume later)
  • Discontinue - Permanently stop (keeps history but removes from active list)

Only discontinue a medication when directed by your healthcare provider.
